FAQs
What ages are the picture books written for?
Our storybooks are written for children aged roughly 2 to 6, which covers toddlers being read to at bedtime right through to early readers sounding out their first pages. They are short enough to hold a small attention span and rich enough to be worth reading again the next night.
Who writes and illustrates the books?
Every title is written by Beth Costanzo, an early childhood educator with more than 35 years of experience with young children. The books are illustrated by a small team of artists who work directly with her, so the pictures carry the same warmth as the words.
What is included with the printable workbooks?
Each activity workbook is a digital PDF you download and print yourself. Inside you will find handwriting and tracing practice, letter sounds, counting, coloring, cut and paste pages and connect the dots activities, all built around one letter of the alphabet for ages 3 to 5.
How do I get my digital download?
Your download link is emailed to you as soon as your payment clears, so there is no waiting and nothing to post. Save the file and you can print it as many times as you like, which makes it easy if you have more than one child or a whole classroom.
How long does shipping take?
Printed books and apparel are packed within 1 to 3 business days and most US orders arrive 3 to 7 business days after that. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order, and you will receive tracking by email as soon as your parcel is on its way.
Do you ship outside the United States?
We currently ship within the United States. If you are overseas and would like one of the books, email us and we will tell you what we can arrange for your country.
Can I return a book if it is not right?
Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on any printed book or item of apparel, as long as it comes back unread or unworn and in its original packaging. Digital downloads cannot be returned once opened, but if a file will not work we will always fix it or refund you.
My book arrived damaged. What do I do?
Send us a photo along with your order number and we will replace it. Books get knocked about in transit occasionally and we would much rather send a fresh copy than have a child open a damaged one.
Are the books useful for teachers and homeschoolers?
They are written by a teacher, so yes. The stories work as read-alouds for circle time, and the printable workbooks are licensed for you to reprint at home or in your own classroom whenever you need another copy.
How do I get in touch?
Email support@adventuresofscubajack.com and a real person will reply, usually within one business day. You can also use the form on our contact page and we will come back to you the same way.
